Once a month, Iskcon Toronto and the Krishna Club get together to deliver hot and tasty vegetarian meals to the homeless of Toronto. This initiative is called ‘Food For Life’, and this month, we’re inviting you to come out and help serve the less fortunate.

We usually start out at the Toronto Hare Krsna temple (located downtown), cook the meals, package them and then later head out to a homeless shelter at Queen and Sherbourne. The address for the temple is: 243 Avenue Road, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5R 2J6

Here is the official schedule for Saturday, March 12th, 2011:

12:00pm – Cut-up and cooking at the temple

2:00 – Packaging

2:30 – Meal distribution

3:30 – Return back to the temple
