As promised, the Krishna Club has a number of events scheduled this summer to keep us all connected, and this is the one event you do not want to miss. Devamrita Swami, a world-renowned monk from New Zealand, is coming back once again to the Krishna Club to facilitate an event called “The Shadow Self and I”. What does that mean? Good question 🙂 This talk will address things like:
- Why life is sometimes filled with stress and anxiety
- What does it mean to control the senses, and how important is it, really?
- Who am I, who do I want to be?
- Conformity vs. Individuality
Sounds deep, right?!
Devamrita Swami is truly amazing, and we promise you will be invigorated not just by the things he has to say, but also by his warm and caring personality. He is a Yale graduate, an author, and has been a bhakti yoga practitioner for 40 years. Not only is he articulate and cool, but he’s also personable and funny. Don’t miss your opportunity to meet and hear from him!
As with every event, this will include a delicious – and we mean delicious – vegan meal. For this one, we’re pulling out all the stops. We’ll also have some amazing mantra meditation. See details below:
